During the Backstreet Boys’ Sunday performance in London, Nick Carter broke down in tears.
While singing with the Backstreet Boys at the O2 Arena in London on Sunday, Nick Carter started crying. The previous day, Aaron Carter, his brother, passed suddenly.
Carter was performing his part of the popular song “Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely” when he suddenly became choked up and had to stop. From then, other band members approached him and gave him hugs.
Kevin Richardson informed the crowd, “Tonight we’ve got heavy hearts, since we lost one of our family members yesterday.
Despite having a “complicated relationship,” as Nick describes it, with Aaron, the Backstreet Boys singer said in a message he posted on his Instagram page on Sunday that his “heart is crushed.”
“My heart is broken. Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded,” Nick captioned a photo of the two of them. “I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed. Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz. Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth….I love you baby brother.”
A housesitter in Aaron’s L.A. home discovered him dead. Saturday morning, I got home. Although the reason of his death has not been determined by the authorities, TMZ claims that he drowned in his bathtub.
