Yesterday, Lil Durk shared a few unfortunate news. The rapper revealed he would turn in, though he did not reveal why at the time. Reports have emerged earlier today that he was issued a warrant for his arrest in Atlanta in connection with a shooting in the Varsity. Reports claimed authorities were looking to book him on five felony charges including criminal intent to commit murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during a felony commission, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and another charge of associating with a criminal street gang to participate in a criminal offence.
Shortly after reports of his legal woes emerged, Lil Durk released his new song, “Turn Myself In.” The new track of the rapper is reflective as he examines both his past actions and what the future holds. Whatever God has planned for him, the rapper accepts while maintaining his innocence. “Stay makin’ up lies, for sure / I’m an innocent man, for sure / It’s what it is, for sure,” on the first verse he rapes. Peep down on his new track.
