It’s crazy to think that after everything we’ve heard about R. Kelly, that man still has the ability to completely disappear and avoid the law. After being transferred from Chicago to New York yesterday, the R & B singer was scheduled in court but when his lawyer went to look for him, he could not find the artist. Now, it is reported that R. Kelly is not visible and that is quite scary.
As you certainly know now, this despicable entertainer faces countless charges for sexual assault on underage girls and thanks to his recent arrest, he has been detained by police for weeks. There have been a number of updates this week about predictions of predators and today, interesting ones have entered our radar. As reported by the NY Daily News, Kelly’s lawyer stated that the singer disappeared after he was transferred from Chi-Town to NYC. Interestingly enough, he seemed to be shackled while being transported so it was not entirely clear how he could get out of sight.
Attorney Douglas Anton spoke to the press about the incident, noting that after Kelly’s plane landed in New York, he was not told where his client would be taken. “I have spent hours after landing on the telephone with the (Prison Bureau) in New York MCC and Brooklyn MDC trying to find my client, but no one will give me that information, even acknowledging I am his lawyer,” Anton said.
