It will be a pretty busy day in terms of music releases. We were expecting a release from Wale, YoungBoy Never Broke again, and but one person took us by surprise is Blueface. Los Angeles rapper has been particularly silent in recent months, dropping Dirt Bag and let it take organic vapors. As one of the hottest new artist, Blue has many pairs of eyes watching every movement. He’s been trying to create a “Thotiana” magic and, while he has not quite mastered his hitmaking ability yet, all the songs have taken a heavy momentum on the streets. We will see how the new track with Jeremih stick.
Cash Money West superstar is back with a new single called “Close Up,” which features one of the most talented vocalists in the world, Jeremih. This marks the first link-up between the two artists and, from the sound of their collaboration, we wish they had more in savings. As usual, Mih destroy the hook, which allows Blueface to work his magic off-kilter in the verses.
If you’ve been hoping to force the switch-up from BF, this is probably your best look yet at what he can do over a beat that is not a typical West Coast banger. For now, this one is just out in select international markets but expect to drop at midnight. What do you think?
