Although it’s not yet midnight on North American soil, DJ Pharris, Chief Keef, and Jeremih have already given some audiences the latest collaboration. Enter “JUUG,” a hard hit, bouncy banger produced by Ayo N Keyz and Hitmaka’s production team. Pharris lines up another strong tandem, both of which feature distinctive but complementary styles, picking up where his summer single “Boss” left off.
Jeremih has always done well on the vocals, and here he gives himself space to flex on the masses; not entirely out of character, but one side we don’t often see from the self-declared “King Of RnB.” Like his fellow countryman, Chief Keef doesn’t need any introduction. A splendid hip-hop figure lining the “Mount Rushmore” of many young fans, Keef proves that he can still put into work beyond the messy mixtape approach that he late delivered. Here, he sounds again centered, an hopeful sign that his next album can be a return to some sort of form. Now check out this one, and sound down below.
