Insofar as solitary hip-hop wishes go, numerous fans hold a Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole joint effort album in high respect. The venture has experienced various status updates, with talk of its origination strengthening and fading with the lunar’ cycle’s consistency. Still, many choose to stay optimistic, as both Kendrick, Cole, and their respective teams have stayed open to the thought. Presently, no doubt TDE subsidiary MackWop, who serves as the label’s tour DJ, has chosen to bring matters into his very own hands.
A while prior, Wop transferred a video titled “IM GONNA PUT OUT A NEW KENDRICK LAMAR and J-COLE RECORD IN 2019,” clarifying that he’s the just a single equipped for “encouraging these verses.” At around the twelve-minute check, Wop explains that he’s going to “be the n***a to put out the K.Dot J Cole records.” He continues, clarifying that “everyone love MackWop.”
“If we being honest, I think I’m going to be the one to make it happen,” he explains. “They both my n***as, I’m going get it done. So look forward to that, 2019, we speaking it into existence.” A few days later, he uploaded a second video, providing an update on the situation; as of January 3rd, Wop had yet to speak with any of the parties involved, but remains hopeful that he can still make the process happen. Of course, it’ll have to be in a while to come, as J. Cole will have his hands full quarterbacking the upcoming Revenge Of The Dreamers 3 album.
