As promised, crooner Adrian Marcel delivered his first release under his Third Voice Music group label on his sophomore studio album by way of 98th.
The venture officially denotes his departure from the Universal Music Group and finds Marcel once again asserting himself as a fundamentalist in R&B, carrying the torch for purists everywhere while at the same time creating an updated catalog spanning generations ‘ speakers. Names after Oakland’s 98th Avenue, once called home by Marcel, the new project is the most compelling work of the singer to date and exposes listeners to an artist who has embraced change and growth with open arms, as illustrated by the textured sounds woven throughout the track list.
