Since we heard from Manolo Rose, it’s been a minute. For a minute, the Brooklyn rapper was in the game. Although he doesn’t drop music consistently, he’s the type of artist that ensures quality is whatever he drops. It looks like he’s turning things up this year and keeping the ball rolling. For their collaborative project, Spring Time Colors Pastells, he linked up with producer 183rd earlier this year. The short has reached the top of the month and now he’s coming back in a hot minute with his first solo project.
Season One is Manolo Rose’s latest solo project since Concrete Rose was released a few years ago. His latest offering runs for seven tracks and includes the previously released single, “I Get Money.” While Rose holds the majority of the project alone, he makes G Perico’s West Coast connection on “10MPH.”
