Why Don’t We just dropped an epic music video for “Unbelievable!” The band– Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery, Jonah Marais and Zach Herron– headed to the desert to shoot the video, directed by Henry Lipatov and David Loeffler.
The guys explore the barren landscape in the video as mysterious objects seem to float across the sky until a beautiful oasis is transformed by the desert.
Check out the lyric video for the song as well, where the guys lose their clothes completely! Watch the whole music video “Unbelievable” below.
After dropping his The Falling Man project, DUCKWRTH came back with a short film in pairing with his new effort to support the new work with tracks like “KING KING,” “LOVE IS LIKE A MOSHPIT,” “A WILDFIRE” and “BOW.”
According to a press release, the new project is designed to compare “an artist’s ups and downs with a king’s ups and downs while addressing the fear of falling as fast as you rise up.
” The effort takes on a duality battle, balancing “power and corruption, love and death, as well as bravery and heroism,” and the new film serves as a contrasting picture that effectively maintains such an ethos.
As of late, Michael Aristotle was on something f a roll, carefully building the road leading to his upcoming album. Now, the emcee from Atlanta returns to lend the assistance to the latest Dallas star Erica Banks.
The duo comes together in a new clip for their collaboration “Want It,” plucked straight from the project of Banks ‘ Art Of The Hustle, released back in March. The track takes the form of a playful banter shared by Aristotle and Banks as they detail the secrets of the bedroom over bouncy production suitable for late nights and endless weekends, and just in time for the new season.
April marked the arrival of the I C U U C ME, Pt from Sebastian Mikael. II project, a soulful exploration that picks up where it left off its December output.
The singer has returned to share his “Time” music video in the spirit of continuity, a clip that follows up on the music video for his “Acid Pt. II” track that was previously released.
Both tracks are taken from his latest project and present together an overall visual representation of Mikael’s catalog’s soul and nostalgic essence.”‘ Time’ is a gem of R&B. It’s different from the rest of the EP,” says Mikael about the track and the new clip. “I went to a 90s R&B baby-making anthem. The video is a celebration of black love. I wanted it to look like a flashback or a dream.”
“Run The Bag Up” has been in circulation since April, while the project it includes, Up All Night 2, was released just over a week ago with the support of the full roster of HBK. Kool John manages to recruit a few outsiders into the fold in the music video “Run The Bag Up.” In the leadoff position, Kool John slots himself, because well, he foots the bill.
First, with his friends, he spawns in a hangar, but not for long, as the choreographer / videographer then chooses to deploy a dancer off to the side in a darkened room. Literally, Kool John traps himself in one too many vignettes before Donnie Darko’s eyes on the viewer’s strobe settings -signaling P-Lo to jump in and rap the hook. Next up is Nef The Pharaoh, with probably the most balanced of attacks on “Run The Bag Up.” Nef’s well-researched style never looks out of place at the heart of a record, leaving Larry June in the final seconds to close up shop. Easy peasy, like breakfast, or Brexit, the first thing to come. Enjoy Kool John’s new(ish), it’s a real bop.
Since November, Boosie Badazz has been blessing fans with a ton of music. With his album, Boosie Blues Cafe, he came through a project that found him straying from his typical sounds of Southern Rap and shifting to blues. Even though it surprised people, the rapper was definitely working out. With his Christmas album, he blessed fans a month later and dropped off his project, Badazz 3.5 in March. He’s back now with his new “Off The Flap” video.
Boosie Badazz posts for “Off The Flap” with the click in the NSFW video. The video features Boosie and his squad posting up in front of a trap house while smoking, drinking, playing dice, tote guns and the rapper playing his single. The video also cuts to Boosie Badazz’s footage surrounded by twerking women around him so it’s probably not best to watch this in the office.
We’re inching to release the upcoming album from Skepta, Ignorance Is Bliss, due this Friday. The new project of the rapper has been in the works for a minute and serves as his official follow-up to Konnichiwa, though since then he has released a ton of music.
He unleashed two new singles to kick off the campaign for his new project, which also serve as the project’s first and second songs. For the first track off of the project, “Bullet From A Gun,” the rapper unleashed his new music video.
The rapper takes a simplistic approach to the visual as he’s seen posting a London Camden Town tube station while he’s surrounded by havoc.
Take a look at his new video below and keep your eyes peeled.
The new selection, co-written by Jim-E Stack, underscores a more subsidized element of both artists as they bounce together effortlessly for a light track that now matches a trippy new clip that finds Octavian balancing blurred vision with unusual environments, courtesy of teenage director Dominic Testo.
The new track presents the upcoming Europa EP by Diplo, a brief project that will be running through collaborations between Diplo and promising rising stars from Europe’s continent. It serves as a follow-up to the California EP and has recently arrived among a host of projects from Diplo, including his LSD collaboration with Labrinth and SIA and the work he has put into the final album of Major Lazer.
Fresh from the release of her UNFUCCWITABLE project, her second outing since signing with the 1017 imprint of Gucci Mane and her first outing since assuming her new name of plume, Asian Da Brat now returns with her video “Tweakin.”
The new clip maintains the same entertainment level that Asian has regularly placed at the forefront of her clips. Equipped with a complete storyline and vibrant visuals, the new flick forcefully underscores the creed of Asian.”‘ Tweakin’ was one of the hardest records off the tape, so I knew I wanted to shoot something for it from the jump,” she tells Highsnobiety.
“It’s the prequel to’ Draco,’ my Smokepurpp song and video… I wanted to give something extra to my fans, so I hope they’ll watch both videos and get the full story.”
A few months after his Adojio album was released, Elujay returned with a music video featuring two project tracks, “Leisure” and “Get U,” to refresh the effort.
Things kick off with the former as director Khufu Najee in the new video with an exploratory piece that completes the picture painted by the sounds of Elujay. Elujay attaches inspiration for the new music video to “the colors he sees in his music along with the movies Requiem For A Dream, Mid90s, and Vanilla Sky,” according to High Snobiety.
It continues to be a powerful and soulful push for the 21-year-old. watch below.
Masego & FKJ have provided their fans with another visual round for their unlikely hit after picking up little over 130 million streams out of the strength of “Tadow” alone. Yesterday marked the 2-year anniversary of the first release of the song as a project of “building a bear.” Instead of setting the studio most synonymous with the pair, Masego & FKJ opted for Los Angeles ‘ beautiful smog through videographer Joe Weil’s exasperated lens.
A series of sky-level billboards come into view as Masego cruises along the LA strip, depicting parallel realities. To read TADOW in a scribbly marker, cards and protest signs are overturned. Weil steals the spotlight away from Masego (and a camera-shy FKJ) in the same random order to highlight the historic treble produced by the three women of color who successively won Miss America, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA. With Summer just around the corner, “Tadow” looks set to enjoy another run anywhere in sight, without a suitable replacement.
This weekend marks the arrival of Rotimi’s Walk With Me album, the first full-length release of the artist since the G-Unit imprint of 50 Cent was divided. The project hosts a number of tracks that give the fans a true representation of the Power Star’s evolving art, including “Love Riddim” lead single.
With the effort, Rotimi also shares visuals to accompany the cut, using an elaborate new clip that features appearances from the likes of Apryl Jones, Serayah, even one Michael Blackson as the singer’s likeness literally follows around a love interest while serenating her with sweet nothings of a prohibited love.
Shy Glizzy has become one of the last few years ‘ hottest rappers in the DMV. He has been a favorite in the rap game for a while with his off-kilter melodious flow and vivid depiction of his upbringing. Over the past few years, he hasn’t slowed down, arguably one of the game’s most consistent rappers. He’s continuing to push it with another new visual after releasing his project, Covered N Blood, earlier this year.
Yung Jefe is back with 3 Glizzy for the visual of their new collaboration, “Oh Lord.” The video shows Shy Glizzy showing his sumptuous lifestyle while shooting a college girl who is studying in the library and on the school campus before Glizzy comes through and changes her life for the better.
Before being converted to video four days ago, Rema’s “Dumebi” in his native Nigeria (by way of neighboring Benin) laid claim to a modest following. Most of his recent Iron Man EP, “Dumebi” has become a viral phenomenon thanks to his ingenious choreography, which has generated a social-wide copy-cat movement.
As described, the Dumebi challenge wouldn’t be anything without the arc of storytelling that comes embedded with the project, bringing us back to a simpler time. Rema pursues his love interest by any means possible, even if it involves hanging him by the slimest margins, a wobbly skate deck, on a tailpipe.
Rema is just one of many artists who shoot their music videos as if they were short films, as you will soon discover if you decide to research the busy Nigerian music scene. The design of the costume is top notch, the design of the set is as fanciful. Most importantly, all the visual elements, including a loose storyline (more often than not), perfectly synchronize with the song’s emotional expression. Look out for the subsequent challenge as it continues to gain traction, peep the “Dumebi.”
