Lizzo clearly valued himself as a rapper, and now we will get the chance to see him face to face with a formidable host. Following the recent PSA that he was more than ready to survive in the rap department, Lizzo has launched a new single with DaBaby, arriving at an unknown time. The song, a remix of his single “Truth Hurts,” appears to be in the process of completion, as evidenced by the new IG post from the “Baby Sitter” massacre itself.
In his accompanying writings, Lizzo teased DaBaby’s appearance, writing, “Why did you come like this to me lmaoooooo.” Of course, it’s hard to distinguish what he means, but all signs point to the strong offer of the North Carolina rapper. After all, a single with Lizzo might be exactly what DaBaby needs to move to a completely new market, where the all-round CEO Young can tend to flourish.
We certainly want to know what this sounds like when all is said and done. It’s a strange combination, but a combination that has a lot of potential because these two artists don’t like anything. Expect something lewd, rude, and bigger than life – are you excited?
