Early 2015 would change Silentó’s life, who was just a teenager at the time. He released his debut single “Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae)” on YouTube in January of that year, a song that would continue to be an international hit inspiring a coast-to-coast dance craze. The video currently boasts more than one billion views, but there is no end to Silentó’s career. Now 21-year-old, with his latest effort, the young artist has returned, a five-track EP called SilentóMOB: The Exclusive Doctor.
Silentó had previously been pushed into the limelight, becoming a superstar due to a hit. He is now a young man who realizes his art while creatively developing. SilentóMOB’s lead single: The Doctor’s Exclusive is a song called “Cards,” a personal track where the Georgian artist is singing and raping about being known all over the globe, but still having to “play your cards right” to make something out of you.
On the EP, however, two outstanding tracks are “Right Now” and “Trenches” featuring BigSticcy, so make sure they’re listening well.
“When you play people in different countries around the world in front of you, you think you’ve got it all and you think you’re one of the best people in the industry,” Silentó said. “Nevertheless, I was young, naive, and I didn’t have the ability to create the music that I wanted the world to hear. I was subjected to one song.
Now that I have seen the impact that one song can have, I can use the fuel and the idea to create sounds that can resonate with everyone. I want my music not only to represent what I went through, but also to inspire others through the music and, most importantly, through the music.
