Fantasia’s career is like riding a roller coaster. American Idol winning career soared into the stratosphere when his debut studio album Free Yourself won platinum and his follow-up, Fantasia, won a gold medal. However, for years there have been unpleasant headlines and dramatic moments that haunt his personal life, and it seems like his talent took a back seat to the tabloids.
However, Fantasia has united itself, refocused, and is preparing for the next project entitled Sketchbook. The first single from this album is “PTSD,” a collaboration featuring T-Pain. “This is a much better song for me, but what I feel is needed on the Sketchbook album,” Fantasia said in a press release. “Many people experience disappointment in the pursuit of love, but refuse to let a bad experience determine their whole view of love and romance as a whole.”
Fantasia has also announced that she is once again hitting the road, this time with R&B Tank singer Robin Thicke and The Bonfyre. The Sketchbook tour will take place from October 17 to December 6. Look at his latest efforts and let us know what you think.
