New music from Lil Uzi Vert has become scarce in the last two years. In fact, it has been almost two years since he released Luv Is Rage and the student trip is relatively dry. We received a total of three songs from him this year which is two more than we got in 2018 but often, he came with the guest poems of fire. However, maybe, just maybe, we will really get Eternal Atake this year. Even though the #FreeUzi campaign is still going strong, it does have some new heat coming this weekend.
Yo Gotti and Lil Uzi Vert will set streaming streaming services this Friday with their new single, “Pose,” according to a press release from Epic. The new single was announced earlier today and marked their first collaboration together. It will be interesting to hear what they have but we love hearing new music from Uzi and Yo Gotti.
It seems like this single can lead to the official launch of the new album Yo Gotti. Earlier this year, he collaborated with Lil Baby for “Put A Date On It” which marked the beginning of a greater relationship between the two. While Gotti was working on a new album, he also expanded the Collective Music Group’s list. He teamed up with Lil Baby to sign 42 Duggs for a joint agreement with 4PF and CMG.
