If you are going to listen to this new Chanel West Coast song, skip right to the video. It is in this absurdity that “I Be Like” finds his humor and pleasure. The Ridiculousness cohost raps about the police breaking down the door while he shook his pink cowgirl hat. To his credit, the flow of change in the opening verse is a solid way to keep the listener from losing interest too quickly; However, song writing here is not easy to remember. It wasn’t until Dax’s verse in the middle of the track where aspects of the song began to become more interesting.
Dax came into the video by waking up from a deep sleep, ironically similar to what many listeners experienced at the same time. Dax brings an accelerated flow to the track that might only attract anyone who lost interest at this point. The song ends with a final repetition of hooks sung by the attractive West Coast Chanel.
