Chivalry has never officially died, despite some attempted efforts. Such principles lay the foundation for Ed Sheeran, Chance The Rapper, and the new collaboration of PnB Rock “Cross Me,” the newest single from the upcoming No. 6 Collaborations album by Sheeran. Available in select international markets, “Cross Me” picks up where the Justin Bieber-assisted “I Don’t Care” left off, providing each party with an up-tempo, bountiful pop foundation to declare their undying loyalty. It’s a simple premise. Expect varying degrees of wrath if one crosses the beloved of either contributing party.
Given Chano’s own perception of being one of the hopelessly romantic men of integrity of hip-hop, it is no wonder that he was able to contribute to the cause of Sheeran. Though for Big Ed and his guitar-strumming ways many fans throughout the globe, his intentions remain pure. Expect no wavering on his behalf, nor on Chano’s behalf; as for PnB, the man will abide by his own rules, though if one of the homie’s come calling, he might very well take up words.
