The mixtape run, however, occurred during the time when it was damn-near impossible to release the album without it leaked online. Responding to the songs of The Carter III leaked online, he came through with his five-song EP, The Leak included “Gossip.” Even before reaching megastardom, Lil Wayne take Streetrunner production and continue to apply pressure on the rap game with that he was a living, breathing definition of hip-hop.
