Quavo’s debut single since Takeoff’s passing on November 1st was “Without You.” Qua’ reflects on all of the memories they shared and how they rose from living together to becoming famous all around the world throughout the entire album. When “Without You” was released, fans loved it, especially since it was Quavo’s first single since Takeoff’s passing. The song was produced by a number of artists, including Murda Beatz, Mike Dean, and Zaytoven.
On November 1st, in Houston, Texas, Takeoff was shot and died following a fight during a dice game. Patrick Clark, the suspect who was apprehended by police and later freed on a $1 million bond. Nevertheless, since his arrest in late 2022, Clark has defended his innocence.
After Takeoff’s burial, Quavo posted a statement on Instagram paying tribute to the person who helped him create Only Built For Infinity Linx. The tearful essay described their friendship when they were kids as well as his relationship with Takeoff. Quavo discussed their rap career in depth.
