Trippie Redd introduced us to his latest song this week, dropping “Under Enemy Arms” on all streaming services and letting us wait for the video to be seen. You can say that Trippie expects this song to be big with an incredibly high production value. He clearly invested some big money in the final outcome and definitely delivered the war-inspired visual. One thing many people talk about from the clip is a callback to last year’s one of Trippie’s biggest beefs. Many of the soldiers lay on the ground at the end of the video and a rat begins to crawl over them. Only… The rat has rainbow hair and that’s what we all know.
It’s not a secret not getting along with Tekashi 6ix9ine and Trippie Redd. The two rappers worked together early in their careers, but there has been no loss of love between them since then. Clearly adding a rainbow-haired rat to the video takes a shot at the rival of Trip, who is currently behind bars on federal racketeering charges. 69 In an attempt to get a lighter sentence, he reportedly snapped on his homes and his rap peers were not overly impressed with him. Apparently still Trippie hates his guts but not enough to completely nix the cameo.
Watch the below video and skip to the end to see the action of the rainbow rat.
