They may seem like an unlikely couple, but on Friday morning Yo Gotti and Lil Uzi Vert gave their single “Pose.” Uzi was called by the Memphis rapper to assist him out on the chorus and to give a verse to his vocals. Since 2017, both artists have not released full projects, and while we don’t know if this year Gotti drops an album, fans are anxiously awaiting the upcoming project, Eternal Atake, from Uzi.
The rappers speak about their high economic status on “Pose,” in real form, while avoiding females who want to use them for clout. Gotti teamed up with Lil Baby earlier this year to release his single “Put a Date on It,” while Uzi shared a number of songs, including “Free Uzi,” “That’s a Rack,” and “Sanguine’s Paradise.” Uzi has also been featured on Lud Foe’s “Show You Off,” Young Nudy’s “Extendo,” and Lil Keed’s “Pull Up” with YNW Melly.
