Masego, the creator of the smash song “Tadow,” hasn’t made much noise this year; his sole appearance on our site in 2022 was when he collaborated with Tank And The Bangas and Alex Isley on the song “Black Folk” back in February.
The Jamaican-born singer has released “Say You Want Me,” a rhythmic new song with vocals from Ambré, Ari PenSmith, Mannywellz, and Destin Conrad, before we ring in a new year in January.
It was produced by P2J and E.Y (who have previously collaborated with Beyoncé and Burna Boy) (who has worked with Drake and Childish Gambino in the past).
The new release, which debuted today (November 4) via EQT Recordings/Capitol Records, is the first single from Masego’s upcoming studio album, and it features his sensuous vocals floating over the charming melody.
The 29-year-old sings, “Let me get lost in the lost in the night / I never want to see you if I’m not in your life / Two years I’ve been sufferin’ but I fought for you right.”
The release date of Masego’s follow-up to the Studying Abroad EP from 2020 is still unknown, but his supporters have made it clear that they’re ready for anything he has in store for them.

Masego – Say You Want Me Quotable Lyrics:
Let me get lost in the lost in the night
Two years I’ve been sufferin’ but I fought for you right
I never wanna see you if I’m not in your life
In case, I’m on my way, XOX, I’m on my way
It’s alright, I’m on my way, I’m on my way like
