BROCKHAMPTON – Big Pussy

BROCKHAMPTON still has some new music in store before they hang up their hats — for the time being, at least — despite the fact that the announcement of an indefinite break devastated their fans earlier this year. The Texas-based duo is back this New Music Friday with “Big Pussy,” which will be on the tracklist of their upcoming The Family album.

Kevin Abstract, the group’s leader, raps on the single, which was produced by Bearface and Nick Velez, on his own musical prowess. He rhymes: “Jesus my Savior, own my masters like Master P / Flava Flav with the way we keep it nasty (Huh)” You know it’s magic because, as the song goes, “I can’t describe it, dawg. You must bring it if you gettin’ on a track with me.”

The song “Big Pussy” was released along with a music video that features the “Peach” rapper driving through New York City in a flashy red sports car. The music video was created by Alex Huggins and Harrison Fisherman.

BROCKHAMPTON launched pre-orders for a digital album and three limited edition box sets along with the release of two visual trailers for their upcoming The Family project.

The Saturation artists’ cover of Kool & The Gang’s “Hollywood Swinging,” which appeared on the soundtrack to Minions: The Rise of Gru, is the only other new music we’ve heard from them in 2022.

The 17-track album is scheduled to be released on November 17th through Question Everything/RCA Records; listen to the first single below on Spotify or Apple Music and check back with HNHH later for more information about upcoming music releases.

Quotable Lyrics:

Flava Flav with the way we keep it nasty (Huh)
Jesus my Savior, own my masters like Master P
I can’t explain it, dawg, you know it’s how magic be
You gotta bring it if you gettin’ on a track with me
