The eerie new single from FNF Chop, who hails from Virginia, is titled “Yea Yea Yea,” and it was only recently published. It came out less than two months after “Repeat,” the last song he made with Fivio Foreign. Chop, on the other hand, has not yet been heard on a full-length project. In addition, he released a few extended plays during the course of his career. His most recent release was the No Way Out EP in April of this year. We can only hope that his string of singles in 2022 is a portent of something more significant to come.
The song “Yea Yea Yea” starts out with a bassline that has a really ominous sound to it, which may take you by surprise the first time you hear it. Surprisingly, it does not have a synthetic quality like many other recent bass presets, such as the 808s. It is warm and profound, and Chop manages to do a lot with very little. He begins his verse with nothing but that bassline playing in the background. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the addition of chainsaw noises and distant ad-libs makes for a scary beginning. Additionally, after hearing “Yea Yea Yea,” audiences probably thought of another tune released in 2022 titled “Make Believe.”
When the sub bass kicks in and the snares start ringing, FNF Chop’s song “Yea Yea Yea” transforms into a banger. To put it in perspective, it’s a really understated one. Despite the fact that Chop performs his verses with a lot of aggression and self-assurance, the song never works up to a particularly intense release. This is a tense track that makes excellent use of the instrumental features that set it apart from others.
But as it gets closer to the finish of the track, there comes a moment where the drums, even though they are still very faint, feel significantly deeper. Listeners are left wanting more since the song “Yea Yea Yea” returns to a slower tempo just before the climax rather than plunging headfirst into a ferocious drop. Because of this, FNF Chop’s flows are quick and fluid, which makes for a wonderful match with the beat.
The native of Virginia provides specific descriptions of his material goods, his behavior on the street, and the things that worry him about the people in his immediate environment. Chop’s voice, which is more subdued than usual, contributes to the track’s menacing mood, which is already very dark. There is also a great deal more attention to detail in his narrations compared to what you could discover on other cuts of his trap music such as “Titanic.”
In addition, FNF Chop has made available a music video for his most recent hit, titled “Yea Yea Yea.” A shimmering filter is applied to the rapper’s vision as he rides through the city streets on a quad motorcycle. Quotable Lyrics
I don’t like massages, give me head in the back of the party,
F**kin’ you and your friends, we menagin’, used sleep in the back of garages,
Now I’m running’ through rack after rack, ay, I’ll rob me a b***h off a back page,
Might go buy me a ski and some black flays, all I had was a tree and some black Js
