Another year, another MTV Video Music Awards. Now, it seems like this is the only time of the year when MTV actually has a block of time dedicated specifically to praising music, as opposed to reality television, but it is a story for another day. VMAs respect visuals that bring music to life. Regardless of what MTV might represent now, this is an important night for music. The biggest stars came out for the event, even those who had nothing to do with the music industry.
As usual, the stars came out as usual. Many of the hottest ones come out to show. To begin, MTV made sure to bring out the woman who brought it all summer: Megan Thee Stallion. Not only did he come out to perform, but he also did not go empty-handed. Considering it was Hot Girl Summer, her new single featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ ign also made Megan her first month player for Best Power Anthem.
Several other familiar faces hit the red carpet too. Rick Ross, Big Sean, Lil Nas X, Safaree Samuels, JuJu, H.E.R., Ice-T, Diplo, and many more show faces on the red carpet.
It certainly looks like a crowded night. Let’s see if this is as controversial as in previous years. The best peek is seen below.
