Megan Thee Stallion Wins Her First VMA, Performs “Big Ole’ Freak” During Pre-Show

In case you are not aware, Megan Thee Stallion has driven the ship all summer. That’s right, the talent raised in Houston has dominated this season with the Summer Girl Summer movement which has taken over America and beyond. We’ve seen him rise from a rising artist and become an official Billboard rap singer because of Fever’s success. Now, as he continues to make waves, tonight he is making his VMA debut. Even though the award ceremony had not yet begun, Megan had left an impression.

Megan Thee Stallion started for the VMA pre-show with an appearance on her hit single, “Big Ole Freak.” Although the show was not broadcast on television, he left his mark before winning the first month man. His new single, “Hot Girl Summer” with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ ign, took home the award for Best Power Anthem.

“My God, I really want to cry! This is my first VMAS, my first PRE to show my performance, and my first MEN MOON,” he wrote on Twitter. “Thank you very much thanks to all those who supported me, I promise to continue to level up.”
