Aaliyah’s Madame Tussauds Wax Figure Receives Praise By Fans

It’s always a challenge when the wax museum deals with beloved celebrities. Madame Tussauds is a world-famous brand that, for the most part, has been able to duplicate images of some of our favorite famous personalities, including characters, in many of their international locations. Earlier this month we reported that their museum in Las Vegas would reveal the model of their late singer Aaliyah, and on Wednesday they shared their wax figure during a special opening ceremony.

Four days from now will mark 18 years since the singer lost his life in a plane crash when he and his team tried to leave the islands and return to Florida. They had just recorded a music video for Aaliyah’s single “Rock the Boat” when a series of unpleasant events caused the plane to crash. Six people were killed in the accident. Aaliyah is 22 years old.

Her memory continues to live through her music, and Madame Tussauds wants to preserve young icons with their best abilities. They decided to go with him to see the “Try Again” music video and many fans were very happy. Take a look at some of the photos and responses below, and let us know if this is true.
