As he establishes himself as a solo artist, Jace ofTwo-9 has consistently put his best foot forward. Although we’ve been hearing a whole body of work from him for a while, whether it’s solo or as part of Two-9, he’s been teasing a ton of new music lately. He blessed fans with “ITYB” earlier this year before unleashing his Metro Boomin collab, “Metro Intro.”
Jace came through with his new project, # FreeJace earlier today, after the release of his two singles. It’s a short project of seven new songs, but it’s a strong effort that finds him working with some of the game’s biggest producers. Metro Boomin is one of them, of course, but he also enlists Kenny Beats who not only produced “ITYB” but also “Still Alive.” Additionally, TrapMoneyBenny of “In My Feelings” fame appears on track six, “Tuh.”
As far as feature artists are concerned, Jace keeps it with Key within the family! And Rae Sremmurd’s “GLL” support from Slim Jxmmi.
