VIDEO: DJ Khaled – Weather the Storm ft. Meek Mill & Lil Baby

Since the arrival of DJ Khaled’s Father of Asahd album, we’ve been treated to a handful of video treatments for some of the hottest tracks. From “Wish Wish” featuring Cardi B and 21 Savage to “You Stay,” DJ Khaled’s previous words on how his album will take over have proven to be true.

Another video has arrived for the tune “Weather The Storm,” which sees the trio heading to church for some gospel remedies, assisted by Meek Mill and Lil Baby. The latest video is the album’s seventh offering, which certainly means that there’s more to come as the tape is stacked with 15-tracks. “This is my 11th album, so I make sure I’m developing,” said Khaled to XXL. “But at the same time, I’m changing the game. I was watching the game. I felt like a lot of good music was coming out, but only a handful of the great shit[ was released]. So, with Asahd’s father, I mean everyone’s going to have to go back to the studio and analyze what they’re doing and analyze how they’re going to give it to the world.

VIDEO: Lil Skies – Breathe

Lil Skies cemented himself as one of the game’s most talented up-and-coming rappers with the release of his new project Shelby. He’s done as “up next” and he wants people to notice where he’s right now. With each new song on Shelby introducing equally listenable vibes to the table, he dropped one of the most harmless projects of the year. For many, “Breathe” is a favorite and a video to keep the train moving has been released now.

Nicholas Jandora’s “Breathe” is Lil Skies ‘ latest video. The clip has some powerful editing and a clear theme. The track is a love song, with Skies changing his life to be his girl’s better partner. He wants his girl to be right by his side when he wakes up and if she isn’t, his entire world will fall apart. At the beginning, he levitates in his sleep, slamming hard before he wakes up in a full bath, literally and metaphorically dripping. Underwater portions of the video are shot and other scenes feature raindrops falling into the bedroom of the couple.

This video contains some pretty impressive shots that you can watch above. What are you thinking?

VIDEO: DaBaby – Pony

From his strong debut project, Baby on Baby, DaBaby officially attached visuals to the joint “Pony.” While the comical video easily emerges as a contribution to the yeehaw movement, represented by rapper Lil Nas X, the lyrical flow of DaBaby reminds us that this is hip hop. The amusing video reveals the acting skills of DaBaby as he portrays a ruthless mobster, threatening to behead a pleading victim. The gore of the video suggests the killer bars of DaBaby. A pony, of course, appears in the video and the latter to do justice to the song.

The latest DaBaby news included an altercation between the bodyguards of the rapper and an overzealous fan. The boy was beaten by DaBaby’s security detail after he allegedly became overly persistent in his request to get a photo with DaBaby. Newer reports indicated that immediately after the incident, the victim was hospitalized and has since fallen into a coma. The news may return to DaBaby somehow and cause him some serious trouble. However, we hope the victim will pull through.

VIDEO: DJ Khaled – Wish Wish ft. Cardi B & 21 Savage

DJ Khaled introduced us in his discography on Friday to the latest addition. Before it officially dropped, Father Of Asahd had been teased for over a year and this time around, the overall scheme of the mega-producers was different. Instead of loading us in the weeks leading up to the release of the album with three or four singles, Khaled chose to leave fans waiting for May 17 to hear everything he had been working on.

A long list of collaborators and features was one thing we expected, and as always, Khaled came through. The Khaled family was able to nab 21 Savage and Cardi B for “Wish Wish,” building on their previous “Bartier Cardi” chemistry, with his son Asahd on board as an executive producer.

With Cardi confirmed for the record weeks ago, from the beginning her fanbase was tuned into the drop, checking out her latest verse and getting crazy on social media. A new video for the song, showing Bardi in front of a flaming set of motorcycles, has now been released.

21 Savage and DJ Khaled are standing in a warehouse on some pallets, playing off one of the artist’s bars in Atlanta. DJ Khaled has released a lot of visual support for his new album. There’s more to stay tuned on the way.

VIDEO: Chris Brown – Wobble Up ft. Nicki Minaj & G-Eazy

Chris Brown got to know the old Breezy when he dropped “Wobble Up” in April. Thanks to a restless Nicki Minaj eyeing a return to the podium, and G-Eazy eager to do the same, “Wobbled Up” looked as if it was meant to be the transitional club banger the hip-hop establishment needed.

“Wobble Up” re-entered the stream in the video form a little over a month later. In the “Wobble Up,” Nicki and Chris Brown show little sign of a prudent turn for the worst. Especially G-Eazy, who as history would have it, when the conditions are ripe for tipsy conversation, is the most dastardly pick-up artist of the banquet.

Unfortunately, by casting him in a supporting role, Chris Brown foiled the plans of G-Eazy. Every club obviously has a pecking order based on who fits the bill-exercising the highest degree of exposure, rules that certainly do not apply to a living monarch like Nicki Minaj. The gaze of Breezy is far less consuming than that of Nicki, yet he himself does not know it. Watch as he poses a Vagos member picked up for the camera in a yellow bandana. I don’t know what else to say if that doesn’t attract you?
