Controversy keeps swimming around the life of Chris Brown. If he’s not at home, in the studio, or on tour, it’s better to believe that he’s spending time in court. It is unfortunate that this has turned out to be the career of Breezy. He remains highly talented, but most of the artist’s public perception is still so low.
Chris had to fight several lawsuits this year alone, and this week he allegedly failed to appear in court after a woman alleged to have raped her in France, and lawyers on the case now say that he disrespected the French court because of his non-appearance.
As reported by Billboard, the lawyer representing the woman making the allegations accuses Chris Brown of disrespecting both his alleged victim and the French court. Brown allegedly acted above the law with the lawyer stating that “he thumbed his nose and showed disrespect for the French legal system.”
Earlier this year, the singer was arrested in Paris and fired at his accuser, calling her allegations “fake.” One lawyer in the case said that Brown was not “legally obliged” to attend the court hearing in question b.
