The pair are knee-deep in their “True & Livin” tour and dropped off the record title track at the beginning of this month. The eight-track EP offers these tracks three songs, three instrumentals, and one of the songs ‘ acapella and clean version.
The vibe is heavy and the lyricism is real, especially on Fashawn, Aloe Blacc, Blame One, King, Johaz, and Choosey’s track “Power to the People.” For almost two decades, Blue and Exile have known each other and collaborated for just over a decade. True & Livin offers clear, conscious raps showing what divides the rappers from the emcees.
