Gallant is preparing for the arrival of her newest project Sweet Insomnia, the second set of efforts to follow up Ology 2016. Before this fall, she distributed new singles in the form of “Sleep On It.”
On the track, Gallant unravels the tension of a rift in a relationship, bargaining with his lover to allow their problems to be resolved before returning all existing problems.
“This song is about setting aside your pride and reconciliation, after crashing your head in a relationship,” he explained in a statement about the track. “It’s about reconciliation.”
