Lil Tjay and Lil Baby make a great match on “Decline.” Both of them have a talent for nasal melodies that can slither around almost any instrumental, but sound pure over something that has some soul. For this mission, the production of TnTXD and HemmieOnThaBeat fits the bill. Plaintive keys and lingering guitar like the crooning of the young rappers. The track is an ode to all that’s left at home when they’re on the street, but in the midst of all the bustle, it manages to weigh their consciences.
