Saint Lane – Pitbull Type Beat

Newcomer Saint Lane may not have a series of hit songs under his belt, but the New Zealand-born artist hopes to make a name for himself in the industry. In a recent GQ Australia feature, Lane admitted that he used humor when writing verses, and he did so only with his latest single “Pitbull Type Beat” where he told a satirical story about when he realized how much he really loved Pitbull.

This young rapper uses the art of storytelling to play a lyrical story about how alcohol-triggered nights of alcohol disrupted his life. The humor was clearly seen when it led to Lane realizing why so many people liked “Timber” rapper. Did all that really happen? Who knows, but the artist told GQ that he was indeed interesting from a real-life event to write rhymes.

“I love comedy, it’s one of my favorite media,” he said. “I do comedy on the side, it’s a bit of a secret. I play at the Melbourne international comedy festival. There are about 400 people there and they don’t know who I am. I kill him. I’ll think it’s funny huh” “All the time and when I think of something funny , I will write it for comedy. But when I think of something funny but real, or related, I will write it down for a verse. “Look at the accompanying track and visual animation and let us know what you think.
