Trav and Nav rappers hit the road together three days ago, setting off for a 25-show running across the U.S. and Canada. The pair will perform at The Fillmore in San Francisco on Friday night and to celebrate their tour, they decided to drop their “Called It” joint single. They make for an interesting collaboration as Trav’s New York cadence and Nav’s chill, laid back vibe are mixed together on the autotune-heavy single.
Together with an accompanying music video, Trav and Nav released “Called It,” a noir-like visual basking throughout in pink, purple, and blue lighting. The setting is in an urban area, most likely a warehouse, and the two men go back and forth delivering their additions to “Called It” as sometimes a video vixen appears, smelling at the camera.
Former G-Unit rapper Trav made headlines years ago due to his 50 Cent heated beef, an argument that almost came to blows during an Atlanta show. Fortunately, Meek Mill was on the scene to make sure things didn’t escalate as the small scuffle broke up.
