Rican Da Menace, who was born in Baltimore and is now based in New York, is the latest female rapper to make her debut on MP3HUGS. This past Friday, November 4, she released her most recent single, titled “I Admit It,” on which she does not shy away from allowing her fearless self-assurance to come through.
Among the first bars she raps, she proclaims, “Fck ngga I ain’t no bird, boy that’s for them pigeons,” which establishes the mood for the remainder of the song. “I hate to say that I’m that bitch, but ok I’ll admit it,” she also raps. “I woke up and checked my bank account, I’m shittin’ on these lil’ bitches / Don’t pay these n*ggas mind, shit, I barely pay my tickets,” he said. “I’m shittin’ on these lil’ bitches.”
The new single released by Rican Da Menace was accompanied by a video directed by BenMarc that exudes all of the charisma that is necessary to match the track’s boastful nature.
The young woman, who is now 21 years old, has not been heard from since the summer, when she released the bounce hit titled “Ain’t Going Back.” Before she began to make a name for herself in the music industry, she had already amassed hundreds of thousands of social media followers and a deal with BuVision Entertainment, Out The Jungle, and Columbia Records.
In a press release, Rican was asked what she hopes her music can do for the people who listen to it, and she responded by saying, “I want young females and even young men to be motivated.” The rising star continued, “I hope you hear my story and think, ‘If she came from that and is doing this now, I can do it too.'”
