Recently, the 23-year-old R&B singer shared that OVER IT will fall sometime this year, and judging by the imagery she’s shared on social media, the record may be a compilation of songs that talk in a connection to feeling undervalued or unloved.
Now, that’s just a guess, but Summer delivered her new single “Playing Games” to our theory on Friday. As you listen, the song’s production turns out to be sexy, but Summer sings to her partner in the lyrics who hasn’t shown her the affection she needs. “I’m just trying to match your words with your deeds / I need more than pleasure,” she tells.
