YG’s new album, 4REAL 4REAL just arrived after this month’s postponement. The latest album from the rapper was meant to be a surprise drop, but after Nipsey Hussle’s premature death, the rapper felt that dropping it in April wouldn’t be right. He has slowly released new singles over the past few weeks. “Stop Snitching,” the lead single, debuted at Coachella before releasing it to streaming services officially. He followed up with “Go Loko” featuring Tyga and Jon Z that he performed earlier today on Ellen ahead of the release of the album.
Earlier this weekend, YG unveiled the cover for the Instagram album reading “In Loving Memory of Nipsey Hussle” at the bottom. In a recent interview with Big Boy on Real 92.3, YG revealed that the two kids of Nipsey, Emani and Kross, will receive a percentage of each song on the album. “I put’ In Loving Memory of Nip’ on the cover of the album because I’m giving his kids a percentage of every song on the album. By the time they get 18, they’re going to get a bag from me,” he said.
