VIDEO: Moneybagg Yo – Word 4 Word

While he was busy sparking Twitter debates about his involvement with Megan Thee Stallion, for his 43VA Heartless select “Word 4 Word,” Moneybagg Yo also dropped a new offering with the music video.

In the new video, Yo literally has a conversation with himself as he reflects on the road so far: “Took over at home, then jumped off the curb / Now all my shows, word for word / broke so long, I thought I was cursed.”

The clip, directed by MHarris, takes the viewer through literal representations of the lines of the Memphis rapper and offers a clear picture in the overall image painted by 43VA He

VIDEO: Plies – I Know When U Lyin Ft. Tokyo Jetz

As Plies and Tokyo Jetz drop off the new clip for Plies ‘ “I Know When U Lyin” track in their latest, two of the Sunshine State’s finest links. The song originally appeared on Plies ‘ The Goat album, released earlier in May and now in his latest push to support the effort-finding tracks for a luxurious visual representation that he drops off with Tokyo.

It is Omar The Director who brings the track to life as Plies and Tokyo recite their lines on board a yacht, detailing their significant others ‘ unfortunate tales. “You can’t play me stupid, twice fool me / If I ask then I know what you’ve done, you’re lyin stable,” Tokyo rapes.

VIDEO: Killumantii – Envious Ft. Juicy J

Atlanta-based rapper Killumantii dropped off her Yellow Tape project last year, tapping Jacquees ‘ likes, Omeretta The Great, and Juicy J for help with the effort.

Now, Kill returns to share her collaboration with Juicy J via video as the duo comes together on “Envious,” a memorable anthem that gives a shout to all the naysayers with the cut repeating addictively “Jealous ass bitch, jealous ass bitch, jealous ass bitch.”

The new clip arrives just in time for summer antics as Kill and Juicy J flex up to the highest degrees on a colorful ass bitch.

VIDEO: Mark Steele – Chip

North Carolina emcee Marak Steele is back with a new visual for his recently released single, “Chip.” If the track sounds familiar, it may be because you’ve heard it play on ESPN’s hit First Take show throughout the month of May. Steele’s music was a regular fixture on the popular sports network as his single “Greatness” was featured at the Sports Center and used for the Heisman Trophy Ceremony, and his earlier singles “Not Like Yall” and “Greatness” also got ESPN nods.

Steele spits rhymes on “Chip” overcoming obstacles and pushing forward regardless of the naysayers. His flow is described as “a fervid sound long lost since the late 1990s, early 2000s,” as the rapper is known to pay close attention to lyricism. “This is for us,” says Steele of his latest single. “The underdogs, the highly doubtful, the usually slept on. A jam to bang out while we are relentlessly shattering the expectations they set for us. Never forgetting when it was low, and a constant reminder that it’s up now.”

VIDEO: Trippie Redd – Under Enemy Arms

Trippie Redd introduced us to his latest song this week, dropping “Under Enemy Arms” on all streaming services and letting us wait for the video to be seen. You can say that Trippie expects this song to be big with an incredibly high production value. He clearly invested some big money in the final outcome and definitely delivered the war-inspired visual. One thing many people talk about from the clip is a callback to last year’s one of Trippie’s biggest beefs. Many of the soldiers lay on the ground at the end of the video and a rat begins to crawl over them. Only… The rat has rainbow hair and that’s what we all know.

It’s not a secret not getting along with Tekashi 6ix9ine and Trippie Redd. The two rappers worked together early in their careers, but there has been no loss of love between them since then. Clearly adding a rainbow-haired rat to the video takes a shot at the rival of Trip, who is currently behind bars on federal racketeering charges. 69 In an attempt to get a lighter sentence, he reportedly snapped on his homes and his rap peers were not overly impressed with him. Apparently still Trippie hates his guts but not enough to completely nix the cameo.

Watch the below video and skip to the end to see the action of the rainbow rat.

VIDEO: Skepta – Greaze Mode Ft. Nafe Smallz

Skepta announced his new album about a month ago before releasing two new singles with Nafe Smallz from the project, “Bullet From The Gun” and “Greaze Mode.” Since then, the rapper’s have been relatively quiet in terms of promotion, keeping most of the details of the project under wraps. He returns with the “Greaze Mode” visual just hours ahead of the release of the album after dropping off the visual for “Bullet From A Gun” last weekend.

In their new “Greaze Mode” visual, Skepta and Nafe Smallz are out to hit a lick. The visual takes place in what seems to be the 70s with the two rappers running up in a bank and trying to pull off a heist successfully but ultimately falling short.

The new project of the rapper includes thirteen tracks with J Hus, Key appearances! Lancey Foux, Lay-Z, WizKid, and the Boy Better Know crew, of course.

VIDEO: City Girls – Act Up

The City Girls absolutely blown up in the last year. The girl group consisting of Yung Miami and JT know how to connect with their audience and over the past twelve months they have built a cult-like fanbase. For the duo, songs like “Act Up” were ultra-successful and when it was revealed that Lil Yachty actually wrote a lot of the song, its popularity continued to rise. The track, which is the anthem of a bad girl, has been officially given a new video starting with Boat, introducing the Spring Break anthem as a song that has driven women wild.

Much of the reason the track blew up has to do with the Quality Control duo’s accompanying challenge. They asked their biggest fans to send their own singing and dancing videos to “Act Up,” which helped the official video directors out with content for the end result. The finished product contains a mix of footage sent in by fans, stretching down the street shots from Yung Miami, and Lil Yachty’s comic relief. At one point, Yachty, who serves as an on-set news reporter, assumes the role of a vocal coach as he trains one of the girls to deliver their hard-hitting lyrics, playing off the fact that he wrote the song actually. “If I were a woman, I’d say it that way,” says Lil Boat in a skit in the middle of the video.

VIDEO: Tech N9ne – I Caught Crazy! (4EVER)

The “I Caught Crazy! (4EVER)” single by Tech N9ne is the autobiography of the rapper where he lets the world know that he accepts himself completely. On the track, he’s growing up in detail with thoughts he couldn’t control and feelings he couldn’t describe, but now as an adult he’s embraced all his normalcy — and his mania— and used it to his advantage.

As Tech N9ne and his fellow prison psych ward cohorts stage an uprising, the music video is shot almost in film noir style. They corner the people responsible for locking the mentally and emotionally unstable down, holding them hostage as N9ne delivers his story. He shares that music was his outlet as his childhood events had not yet developed maturity. He wasn’t destroyed by being crazy, it made him gifted. The track is on the recently released four-track N9NA Collection 2 project from Tech N9ne, so make sure you check it out.

VIDEO: Machine Gun Kelly – Hollywood Whore

There has been a renewed interest in the career of Machine Gun Kelly since his feud with Eminem last year. The project that he released immediately after their beef didn’t end up performing well, but his fans have high hopes for Hotel Diablo, which is coming soon. A few singles from the upcoming album have arrived with “Hollywood Whore” serving as the latest. MGK spent time with Fall Out Boy on tour and he was always interested in mixing hip-hop and rock together. He experiments more with hard guitar sounds and rock drums on his new project. It turns out that this time around the whole vibe will be a little bit more gritty as Kellz just shared the “Hollywood Whore” video. Which paints him in a kaleidoscopic clip as the band’s leader.

The video shows MGK with a highlight placed on himself and his tattooed drummer in a room with his team members. At the end, Kellz rocks on the guitar, marveling at how he made it to Saks 5th from the trailer park.

Watch the below video and let us know what you’re thinking. Would you like to see Hotel Diablo released later this year?

VIDEO: Drippy – Mak Talk

With his gang and a lot of sauce, Drippy is riding around the Bronx. The up-and-comer wanted to capture a certain vibe with the track when he released “Mak Talk” last year, creating a street anthem from scratch and crossing his New York sound. Putting on for the BX, we’re putting a highlight on Drippy’s “Mak Talk” video, showing the rapper decked out in the bodega’s red bandana, flashing cash wads, and mobbing with the crew.

Drippy is someone who quickly raised the ranks, boosting his streams, and getting noticed about New York by some solid types. In the months to come, he could very well be a problem. Let us know what you’re thinking about the video “Mak Talk.”

VIDEO: YBN Nahmir – All In Ft. Kamaiyah

For his song “All In” featuring Kamaiyah, the YBN crew enjoyed a backyard, poolside kickback in the latest visual of YBN Nahmir. The group of friends, including YBN Almighty Jay, with an entourage including bikini-clad ladies, grubbed down on some food. Nahmir delivered his single “Baby 8” back in March, and just last week he dropped off “Tweak.” Releases spark rumors that sometime soon Nahmir might drop a new album, so we’ll be looking for any news about it. His charted singles “Rubbin Off the Paint” and “Bounce Off With That” helped put him on the map and three mixtapes were released by the 19-year-old rapper, including YBN: The Mixtape (with YBN Almighty Jay and YBN Cordae).

Kamaiyah also kept busy with herself. She has featured on two tracks from the recent record 4REAL 4REAL released by YG: “Do Not Disturb” with G-Eazy and “Do Yo Dance” featuring RJ, Mitch, and Ty Dolla$ign.

VIDEO: Kodak Black – Needing Something

Kodak Black will not let anything stop him from releasing new content despite all his legal trouble at the moment. He’s not exactly in the biggest positions as he sits behind bars after being denied release on bond, but this week he’s expected to get out. He will be fighting several different cases after that: one for misinformation on an application for a weapon and another for rape. Kodak is at risk of spending a long time in prison, given that he already has a significant criminal file. He had a video ready to unload and his team decided to drop it today, going through “Needing Something” with visuals.

The song is from the latest album by Kodak Black, Dying To Live, which marked a turn in Kodak’s lyrical content in his music. The clip is pretty old school, showing the rapper in his drop-top convertible cruising along the road. With emotion and conviction, he sings his lyrics, posing before all the birds that fly away and flailing his arms with them.

This marks Dying To Live’s latest visual to arrive. It feels like filming one for each song, so it’s probably not the last one. Look at it and let us know what you’re thinking.

VIDEO: Akon & Anuel AA – Get Money

Just a week after his Anuel AA-assisted single “Get Money” by Akon surprised fans, the pair dropped the visual. As the song’s title suggests, Akon and Anuel are flashing cash and expensive cars as they parade inside a luxury home with scarcely clad women. Puerto Rican singer-rapper Anuel AA delivers his Spanish verses as money rains from the sky, showing that many aspire to be a part of these two in a tax bracket. The catchy hook tells listeners “Don’t get mad, get money,” which means spending less time in your feelings and investing your energy in securing the bag.

In quite a while, this is Akon’s first single, but it’s not because he wasn’t busy. He’s got multiple businesses and many worthy international charities, but fans are excited to hear that he’s getting ready to release a new record. El Negreeto, the new moniker of Akon, is the artist’s forthcoming record, his first since the Freedom of 2008. Check the “Get Money” music video and let us know what you’re thinking.
